- have a greater impact on the future of neighborhoods/communities at large
Non-Profit Management / Consulting
Beginning in 1984, Melicent Boysen became involved in several land use and community development projects with American Indian Tribal governments. One outcome from involvement with these communities, was the establishment of a non-profit organization, which focuses on providing advocacy for improvement in the health, education, and social development of American Indian youth.
Twenty years of working with foundations, state and federal affiliates, community agencies and education departments resulted in a vast amount of knowledge and experience in non-profit management, which Melicent continues to share through consulting services to other agencies and organizations, such as United Way.
